"Longest Drive . . . Tagaytay Joyride !!!"

I had my driving lesson last February of 2008, so I was driving at almost a year and a half now! It was really an achievement for me when I drove from our office here in McKinley Taguig to Tagaytay! My Longest Drive ever!!!

We left the office at around 5:00 PM last May 29, 2009 (that was Friday) to visit the wake of Benj's father in Gen. Trias Cavite. It was my first time sa SLEX kung saan ako ang driver! Kinda afraid because all the cars behind me were really so fast at first, kaso may part din na traffic na kase.

We had our stop over sa Shell Gasoline Station ba un? (not so sure if Shell or Petron) para mag dinner at around 6:30 PM I think.

We reached Benj's house in Cavite at around 9:30 PM na kasi naligaw kami, medyo malaki talaga kase yung Cavite and nasa subdivision pa sila.

We stayed there until 12:30 AM na ng madaling-araw so medyo antok na talaga kami, and hindi pa din namin alam kung saan kami matutulog that time. Since we need din i-break-in yung car, we decided to go to Tagaytay.

So sobrang dahan-dahan talaga kasi nakakatakot!

We found several inns along the way pero medyo mahal din talaga, at around P2500 - P3500? Eh since matutulog lang naman kami (we're 5), naghanap pa kami ng cheaper.

It was around 2:30 AM that time ng makita namin yung Eagle's Rooms! In fairness maganda and malinis yung rooms! They have family rooms for 4, since 5 kami, we requested na magpadagdag na lang ng extra mattress for 200 pesos. 1500 yung room plus 200 for extra mattress, 1700 lahat, pwede na kasi airconditioned naman sya.

We slept at around 3:00 AM na until 10:00 AM. Pagkagising, nag-prepare kami ng breakfast. Pancit Canton, Tasty bread, at Milo! They have their own store there and a place (kusina type!) where you can cook your food.

Nakakatuwa!

After that nag-prepare na kami, naligo then headed our way to People's Park.

Along the way (papuntang Batangas na), we saw this 'Near the Sky' mini restaurant wherein kitang-kita mo yung Taal Volcano!

If I'm not mistaken, that was in front of Lala's house!, my former classmate in college! Pero sa pagkakaalam ko lumipat na sila ng new house somewhere in Tagaytay din eh.

At first, medyo mahirap makita yung taal kasi yung fog halos nasa harapan mo na, pumapasok na nga sa resto. After few minutes, maki-clear, then andyan na naman.

Gosh... I can't forget the food sa Near the Sky! MASARAP promise! Especially yung bulalo and kare-kare nila, Promise talaga!

I really recommend this 'kainan' for those who will be visiting Tagaytay!

10 Thumbs Up!

Khoi, Edvie and Donna!

From 'Near the Sky', we then went to People's Park! There is a part there where you need to leave your car kasi sobrang tarik ng daan, you can buy also fruits at the base of the park and some pasalubongs. There's a free taste ng pinya nila doon, so we've tried it and sobrang tamis in fairness! Below are some of the pasalubong we bought:

Just an update by the way, the entrance fee sa People's Park is P15.

You have a choice if you want to ride a jeepney paakyat there, or maglalakad ka. Since sobrang ma-fog that time, and umaambon-ambon, we decided na mag-jeep na lang (fare is P5).

Here's a picture of us with umbrellas before entering the park.

Walang fog noh? They come and go every now and then eh!

As per Edvie: 'May taho ba sa langit?'

Edvie? Cowboy? Ibalik mo na yan sa tindahan!

Another picture of us, Donna and I were wearing a jacket kasi malamig!!!

Well, that's all! We really had fun in our joyride in Tagaytay, it's my first time na umalis, bumyahe ng madaling-araw, and pumunta sa malayong lugar ng hindi alam kung san pupunta at kung san matutulog!
We left at around 5:00 PM, naligaw pa kami ulit pauwi, may time nga na nalampasan ko ung Toll Gate ng di sinasadya, first timer eh, kaloka, wala tuloy ticket na nakuha so binayaran namin ung pinaka-mahal! We had our stop over for dinner on one of the gasoline stations, then na-traffic na kami pabalik, and reached our home around 9:30 PM. So tiring, pero napaka-memorable, . . at ANG SAYA!!! ^___^

" The Bride . . . "

Hi Guys! Here it is, our Wedding Pictures!

Everyone's so excited to see these pics 'coz those who attended, when they see me, they just say 'P
atingin ng Pics!', well, here are some of our Album Pics. Enjoy looking at these pics and reading as well! ^__^

For those who do not know yet, Yup! I was married to Kenetoy Mercado last February 28, 2009.

Everything was so fast, we formally started working on things by November 2008, and planned wedding was on February 2009, about 4 months to straighten out everything.

During the planning stage, we were so much involved in everything. From Church documents, Caterers, Sound System, up to the souvenirs. Kaya ang sarap ng feeling when the event was successful (well, for us I know!).

On this picture is my simple, but beautiful wedding gown made by Cristie's mom. The pair of shoes (from GIBI) I used, souvenir, and the bouquet.

You can also see here our wedding rings which we bought in Megamall, and the invitation & misalette from QP Printing (they have their branches in Megamall, but their Main is on Quiapo). In fairness, marami silang designs, and very professional ang mga nag-a-assist sayo (medyo may kamahalan nga lang...).

This picture was taken before going to church. Well, the wedding is at 4:00 PM, but at 2:00 PM, I was rea
dy and the make-up was done for the Photo Shoot.

Our official photographer was LYF nd FOTO. All the pictures I placed here were taken by them.

Kenetoy during
his preparation.

Well, right after pagdating namin on the reception to prepare, di na kami nagkita, sa Church na lang. So... we rented 2 rooms, 1 for him and 1 for me.

Nakaka-loka yung Photo Shoot! Para kang artista, smile dito, nganga dyan, tingin on the left, on the right, etc. Nakakapagod mag-smile! P
ero ok lang, sulit naman eh! Very happy naman kami with all the pictures! ^__^

My Kenetoy... Waiting for me?!?

Here comes the Bride. . .Tan ..Tan..Tanan..

I was kinda nervous while walking on the aisle, pero at the same time, so happy! It's like everyone's waiting for you to come in, all the closest persons to both of you were there.

The sponsors, our relatives, friends, classmates, past and present officemates!

Cake Cutting, Wine Toast and Dove Releasing.

I really love this simple, but elegant cake!
I have it customized, and our official Caterer, Avengoza Caterer, have done it perfectly!

Our First Dance, Bouquet Throwing and Garter Toss.

I really love this part!
I'm so happy that everyone participated on the Garter Toss and Bouquet Throwing.
The partners: Khoi Dela Cruz and Cristie Quian!

Well right after the party, some took a swim on the pool, while some took pictures. It was a very tiring day for all of us especially for me, yet a dream come true. . .
